It is a new game, but it still using the same core, the same principle of the first game

Yes! 1.0 opening is what we need
because it actually tell us something, unlike this trailer that jumping from one character/NPC pov to the other

CG trailer would be nice, but it takes months (years) to animate something like that. But then again, SE has surprised us before. Here's hoping we get at least one more ><

Also totally liking Gaius and his new "entourage". Not sure if they are some of the other Legati (are they twelve or thirteen now?) but their gear is quite spiffy looking... and I want.

OK, whew!! So much to see in that trailer. Music was epic. Seeing familiar faces and places (some even only in beta ): epic. Lots of new stuff (DRG limit break. Omega. Many more Legati. ...): epic.

Voices? Two issues for me. First is that most of what I saw in v1 was in text. So it was like a book: I had to imagine the voices, which as usual, differed quite a lot from the chosen actors. Second, the direction punched it up way past what I heard in my head. For me, there was also a disconnect between the intensity of the acting and what is shown on character faces. I even noticed this in the Japanese language.

End result, though: Win.
Better than v1's movie, mostly because I know that I'll be playing the game that I saw in the trailer.

The next full CG video I expect to see will be the opening of the game when it launches. We'll probably get to see it during phase 4 if it's ready by then.

Crowds at E3 want to see game play, and this trailer showed a lot of that and in game cut scenes. It was a good move by SE to showcase this.
