No actually. That was my first thought too! Even the voice was spot on for what I imagined him to sound like! I guess we'll find out soon enough XD

That was my first thought as well. I had to watch it a second time to noticed that the mysterious guy doesn't have Elezen ears. My next thought was one of the 'Lambs of Dalamud'.

This trailer felt like a different style direction than what they've done in the past - a little darker, a little edgier. And I loved it!

The Empire looks badass.

Love the mix of cutscenes and gameplay.

Learning a few things, too. Until today, I thought Eorzea was pronounced, 'or-zay-uh' not 'ay-or-zee-uh'

Overall, it just felt like this game has moved to a whole new level.

It might not be "us" floating up there. Recognize the glyph under the Midlander? It's very similar to the glyphs we saw throughout the End of an Era cinematic.

In the trailer we see several figures bathed in blue light flying around the crystal...

Roegadyn in austere attire holding a great axe...

When Louisoix set off the teleport at the end of End of an Era, we saw a similar magick glyph, but with Althyk's hourglass inside of it. That, my friends, may very well be the Midlander trapped in time limbo... meeting the Twelve... the guardians of Hydaelyn.

nah pretty sure that was us, kinda bland image design if it was suppose to be the twelve. Makes more sense that that is probably what us 1.0 people will open up with when starting the game, coming out of the aether and back in Eorzea.

Also, on the note that the dude in the end might be Urianger, that guy was a hyur not an elezen (no pointy ears poking out the sides of the cowl.) so not him, probably a new villain, perhaps a paragon? O.o

It is hard for me to be objective with this trailer. This trailer is of MY game and I will play it regardless. Wild moogles couldn't keep me away. I'm going to love it no matter what! I watched the English version (only). I didn't like the voice of the narrator (way too deep, almost fake-deep). I'd really just like to be inside someone's head who this is the first they've seen of this game. Probably gunna go watch it a few more times... lol

That wasn't a narator, that was Gaius...which makes me sad. He always had a deep voice, but it used to sound REAL. And almost all the characters sound like they're reading off a page...

German Kan-E-Senna is just a perfect fit to me!
Merlwyb sounds a bit different than I thought but not too bad (she rolls the R a lot xD)
Garuda is ok too, but her english voice sounds a bit better.
No go for me is Cid's voice ._. I think he's supposed to be 'aged' but it's a bit too much.

Oh, Gaius and the narrator remind me of Transformers /cough
