If pigs can really fly, I wouldn't care about anything else!!!
Xbox fanboys will still buy the new system despite the PS4 being better in every way. Microsoft knows this.
It would be like purchasing songs on your Ipod, and being required to hook it back up to your computer/internet everyday in order to keep listening to your music.A lot of people with consoles are also PC gamers. I own both an xbox 360, a PS2, and a high-end PC that lets me play anything on ultra, with pretty much 60fps to boot.
I don't always play my Xbox. When I play Xbox, it's usually a single-player game anyways.
Xbox One's 'always online' doesn't mean you need a persistent internet connection 24/7 to play online. All you need to do is log in once every 24 hours to the X1 servers, so the game can check to make sure your copy of the game is real and not pirated.
Some people get so butthurt over anti-piracy tactics, lawl
Or having to pay an extra couple cents to Apple when you let a friend listen to a song on your IPOD
Or having to pay a small fee the Author of a book before you could borrow it from a friend...or sell it at a yardsale
And what about game services like gamefly? How does game 'rental' work now?
Hilarious though, that we're MMORPG players who, once we buy the hard copy of the game, cannot lend it, re-sell it or play it round our mates (unless you get them to install it a day in advance) and we don't complain. We have to have an always on connection, and when our 'net goes down and we can't play, we don't rage at the PC manufacturers... Hell, we even pay £7.99 a month for the privilege.
/troll off
Historically, almost every console has been sold at a loss, with the hope that the game sales will pull them out. ps1, ps2, ps3 all sold below cost. Nintendo, sega genesis, n64, the list goes on.

Xbox chief Don Mattrick, in response to the backlash over the Xbox One requiring an internet connection, said that "fortunately, we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity, it's called Xbox 360." As an example, he referred to a crew member on a nuclear submarine, who would be better off with the 360, as it's an "offline device."
So in short if you don't like what they are saying then just shut up and buy a Xbox 360 because they don't care.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
