Why? You most likely won't have to buy the PS4 version again - at least thats my guess.

A ps4 version is still a ways off, even with the confirmation. So no, I wouldn't cancel the preorder.

They said ps4 is not backward compatible, that means we would have to buy the game again, unless they let us download the ps4 version for free because of having the ps3 version. But I don't think they will do that.
I'm sure the game would run wayyy better in the ps4.

Honestly, I don't see why they wouldn't let you guys do that. The game is tied to your PSN account on PS3, that same account carries over across all Playstation platforms including PS4 when it hits. I'd be shocked if they didn't offer either a free PS4 download or something like a $10 upgrade to people who already had the PS3 version and a PSN account linked to their SE account. They seem to be fairly customer centric in their approach to this reboot so far, so it would only make sense for them to do something like that.

I'll cancel my PS3 pre-order only if they make the PS4 pre-orders available soon, and have a Collector's Edition with it. :V
