Questions on Names Sercured (for world transfer)?

I was wondering if anybody knew any info on the names for servers. What I mean by this is that for people that haven't been on or played in a long time. I will say 6+ in months prior to the game ending.(just as an example). Will there name be secured for launch in of ARR. Reason I am asking because I know people are moving servers and their name mite be in use. so can anyone shed some light on this info for me? Thank you.

Character Names
After the transfer, if two or more characters with the same first and last name exist in the same World, only one character can keep the name, based on the order of priority below.

1. Characters that qualify for Legacy status.
2. Characters whose subscriptions ended after September 30, 2012.
3. Characters that were created first.

In the event that your character must be renamed, please enter a new name by following the on-screen instructions when you first log in following the World transfer.
* Players may voluntarily rename their characters even if their name takes precedence.

Not positive its all inclusive, but you might be able to do a Lodestone search and see if there is anyone else with the same name as you. ^^

Yea its more for my friends. They are only 2 characters with my name and the other I think stop playing. heist level is only lvl 6 archer lol. So im good but friends have a more common name so I figure I would ask Lodestone if anybody knew any info. But thank you Katella ^^
