Free Company Tithe/Taxes

Did a quick search of the forums and I haven't found any topics or discussions about having a tithe/tax type of system for Free Companies.

I for one would like to see something like this put in place for Free Companies in the form of a certain percentage of gill, set by the FC leaders, dropped from mobs, automatically sent to the FC bank.

I'd like to know what others think, PROS/CONS, and other ideas on types of things taxed.

I can't think of any Pros, all I've had is bad experiences when it comes to linkshell leaders and big shared banks.

I won't paint every one of them with the same brush, I'm sure there are some super awesome ones out there but at the end of the day, I don't trust anyone as far as I can throw them.

I've dealt with it a lot in XI and even in WoW - as soon as there's a good substantial amount of cash or items stashed away, some smart arse has to clean it out and screw over everyone else who worked so hard at saving up D:

I really hope they don't implement something like this, I'd rather LS/FC leaders be like "Hey we need x_amount of gil for this" and then it actually gets spent on what they said instead of overflow gil going to fund Senor jackass's triple meld tier IV underpants><, then just have people trade them their donation.
