Transferring Character Data to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Questions

If the application says your selected server is Sargatanas, that is where you'll remain.

I've made no application nor visited the transfer site because I do not want to move. That is why I am asking for confirmation on this, as I have seen it asked a few times and I would also like to know.

EDIT: Well I see what you mean, this is what I see upon logging in:

Before submitting your application, please review the details of the regional data centers and World transfers.

・Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2013 07:59 (PST)
・Applications may be submitted multiple times during this period.
・Players must select a World for each character they wish to transfer.
・Players will not be able to select Worlds that are already populated with the maximum number of characters, but players will be able to move from such Worlds to other Worlds.

I didn't hit the submit button. I don't really want to make it confusing by submitting a request to transfer when I don't want to transfer. Well it would still be nice to know...

It's going to work the same way they handled the 1.0 server merges: If you do not wish to move, don't do anything at all.

And I'm sure a dev response will confirm that, so we'll see.

Ahh, well I wasn't around for the other merge. I've heard it was a nightmare though. Thanks for your input. I'm kind of a worrier. >.>

Yup, quite the ka-qwinka-dink we're in. I don't wanna see any cutscenes as my old Lala. I guess I'll just start a new character for phase 4, then play my 1.0 character in early release.

Well it's been decided, and you're never gonna believe me, but, you will now be able to change your character appearance at the start of Beta Phase 4. The character edit flag will be available then. You can play your character, how you want them to appear, from Beta Phase 4 and all the way through launch.

My entire FC were refusing to play B4 because it would ruin their cutscenes, now I'm sure they will come and join me ^_^
