Darnus Cosplay... I believe I'll die @_@

Hi there~

Here is a new update ^^
This time I worked and nearly finished the shoes. They just need to be painted.
And finally no paper mache XD
They look so cool XD
Ok they need some rubber bands at the sole to keep the form but I already like them so much *.*


Here are the steps I had to go for this...
First cover the shoe you wear in foil then cover it with ducktape.

Next draw the cutlines on it with a waterproofed pen.

Now cut the ducktape-foil mix carefully and don't cut the shoe!
Now you have perfect patterns

Transfer this now to foam and cut it out.

Now it's the hardest part... sew all this little pieces together and you get this ^^
Yea I used needles to fix the form XD

Yay they are looking awesome and I just need to paint them ^^
Btw at the backside I used a leatherband to keep it together.



And here are all the pieces my mom made meanwhile ^^

But the Weapon will be the last thing I will make for the cosplay...

Weekend is over... Back to work

After I took a break at the weekend today my mom and I were working again at the cosplay.
Time for COLOR!!!
I finished the leg parts and my mom painted the pieces I prepaired for her.
Here you can see the outcome ^^

Yea I think Darnus also trouble to stand up early in the morning... but I doubt he will wear his helmet when he just woke up lol

4 weeks left to finish it... and so much more to paint @_@
