Actually, that question stands for every single aspect of FFXIV. Why experiment with some weird ideas instead of improving FFXI system?

Exactly. I mean I can understand that in every FF you remake your system and make it unique but with MMOs you need to stick to your guns. Take what you have and make it better.

Also add visible stat bonuses in the menu after eating food/ show what effect drinking something has (regen/refresh/etc.).

I remember in XI they had the +1 or what ever next to the base stats in green. Show us our true stats!
