Will Phial of Fantasia allow name changes?

Hopefully a rep can quickly answer this, since the character recreation has been moved up to Open Beta. Will we be able to change our name with the Phial, or is it strictly appearance-only?

It might screw with people who are on the fence about races/genders and want to have a gender- or race-appropriate name.

I am curious about this too.

I'm torn between Miqo'te and Hyur, and if I do go Miqo'te I won't be choosing a lore-appropriate name unless I learn that the Phial can change it. In case I regret my choice and change to Hyur, I don't want to be stuck with an apostrophe and unpronounced aitches in my name.

Even if it does not include a name change (and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't), the Phial is still very appreciated. Just would be nice to know. ^^

I don't think it will since it says appearance but I'm still curious when they are going to give us the chance to give us the option to have us change our names from 1.x to 2.0.

Yeah I understand if it doesn't allow name changes, but it would be nice to know before we commit to our final name.
