I use EVGA Precision X. You have to register at the EVGA website to download it.
I'm not super tech-savvy. I use it really only to monitor temp and automatically allow it to adjust fan speed. I don't over-clock anything.
I have an EVGA GTX 560 but I'm pretty sure you do not have to have an EVGA card to use the program.
MSI Afterburner. No registration and monitors non-msi cards as well.
OT: Can't really say I can recommend any MSI card though, considering their practices like driving a component meant to handle 5V with 9V.. causing lower life expectancy, driver crashes and boot problems

Might explain why I couldn't log out without crashing last test. I just updated to the 320.49 beta driver last night, so hopefully I'll have better performance.
Ya I've been fighting with this. I noticed a huge hit upon initial install of this driver on the benchmark as well (Was clocking well into the 8.1k range with the 314.22 driver and dropped to 7700 range with the 320.18) I will have to retest it again now that you say that performance issue seems to have been fixed.
I am still getting white screened every now and then in the Beta where it drops to white then my desktop and I can see the game is actually still playing but the driver fails. Never had this happen a single time w/ the 314.22 and am giving consideration of going back to it though the 320.18 gives better performance in a few other games I play.
Perhaps I'll wait and see if they get this fixed prior to launch before reverting things. It is still 2 months away after all.
Thank you for the heads up =)
Awww man DX I wish I read this thread two hours ago.
Yeah... In hindsight, I kinda regret my choice going with the MSI model after reading stuff like that. Still, it's been good to me so far. *Knocks on wood*MSI Afterburner. No registration and monitors non-msi cards as well.

I am using GPU-Z with my AMD card to check out the temperatures and usage. It works for NVIDIA too if I am correct.
Regarding the driver crashes... Does it end up Windows Aero being deactivated? I had it once with my 7870 but my LS leader had several crashes a day during the last beta weekend with her nVidia card (not sure but I think it is an 660 from EVGA).
Running on Windows 8 which does things differently anyways. I am doing dual-screens but I intentionally have them to separate cards (My GTX670 for gaming, and w/e intel HD chipset comes in ivy bridge with the i5 procs)I am using GPU-Z with my AMD card to check out the temperatures and usage. As others have said it is specifically the nVidia driver crashing (with the OS recovering it at least in my case). ARR continues to run fine.
Will see how it goes tomorrow, I updated to this beta driver yesterday.
