An idea: Before and After video..

Not something I can do myself, though if I could I certaintly would. But what I would love to see, especially after watching the Tour 2 video a couple of times and seeing some of the other changes made to the areas around Uldah and LL, is a comparison video showing what the world looked like Before and After the events of Bahamuts release.

Though such a video could be done during phase 3, it wouldnt be released until the NDA is fully lifted I realize. OR! .. The XIV team could do it themselves as a side project perhaps, I'm sure they're bound to have some early footage of the landscapes that was the world and then bring it to the after. Some of the changes are just insane.

Just an idea.

You forgot Coerthas and Mor Dhona, but in a way the 1.0 version will be forgotten once we see their newer counterparts...(or at least, that's what I'm hoping for).

We've only seen these three zones so far, so that's why I showed those three. Coerthas and Mor Dhona are just as bland though.

I think the differences are pretty staggering in cases like this one.

That spot in picture 2 was labeled "Bloodshore" in the new "Tour of Eorzea Pt 2" video. The live letter part VI just had a better angle that showed the aetheryte.

I've created time lapse videos of every region in ver 1.0 here. It's a nice way to capture a location in (almost) every time/weather combination. I actually only had to make 1 video per region in 1.0 since every zone was pretty much the same.

I plan to make time lapses for ARR as well, only thing is since every zone is so different now for each region, it looks like I'm going to be making quite a lot of these videos! It would also be quite easy for me to put together a video of my time lapses comparing how the 1.0 regions changed in ARR. It will probably be sort of similar to my "Before the Fall of Dalamud" video. With so many new time lapses to make it'll take a bit of time before I can make the comparison one, but as they say on the forums, please look forward to it!



On a side note, it would be kind of nice if we had a single zone per region that was relatively unaffected by Bahamut called "old la noscea" "old thanalan" "old gridania" etc.

I really hope the Emerald Labyrinth theme is in ARR somewhere, it's so good.

Coerthas - Covered in Snow, more forts, redone entrence to Darkhold and Aurum Vale (more inside of a cave like structure.)

Mor Dhona - Aside some "war torn landscape", some destroyed camps like Revnants Toll and lots of Dalamud fragments.
