    2. One computer can have different accounts logging in, just not at the same time.

People need to think of the PS3 as a personal diary. and that only you can play your FFXIV account on. Its locked to the one account, simple.

3.You have 3 others(brothers sisters), that for some reason only want to play on the PS3, you would have to buy 3 separate systems. Unless they plan to take turns playing on One account and creating a character each, for that one account. Which kinda defeats the purpose of an online mmo, cause you would want to play together and have fun.

For the basic sub of $12.99 you get 1 character 1 server, I believe. And at $14.99 you get 8 characters for all servers.
    What? are you crazy? LOL

    1. You can log in with different PSN accounts on the same PS3. The ARR codes will be tied to PSN accounts, at one per account.

    2. One PC can have multiple accounts logging in at the same time

    3. They can have their own accounts and PSN accounts, just as long as they each buy the software for PS3. much cheper than buying 3 more PS3s..but of course they can't physically play at the same time, unless one or two hop on a PC.

    To answer OP:

    1. Yeah you'll need two separate accounts (unless SE has decided to allow us to use one account and log into multiple charas at the same time)

    2. Yeah you'll need two copies, unless you stay on PC and your wife plays on PS3. Note that wife can log into PC without buying the PC software.

    3. Second account is brand new, so no, it doesn't qualify for Legacy.

My bad. Hardly use my PS3. So why people making such a big fuss then?

So on one PC, I can have multiple, windowed FFXIV games(different logged in SE accounts) running at the same time?.. didn't know that either. Thought it would kick the user off the other game.

The fuss I guess is having to purchase the game for multiple PSN accounts, even in the same household, even if you already have an existing account. It's not like PC where existing accounts can just log back in with the new software.

As for PC: Yes, you can have multiple windows, theoretically, as many accounts as you have access to and as many as your PC can handle (though I don't know how people would seriously want to run more than two windows).
