Or perhaps go through some process involving a notarized letter stating you have indeed switched regions, with some kind of proof such as a bill in your name or something lol.

I agree, but it would be one way to prove you no longer live in one region, and so they could counter people like Medusa who just want to region change to pay a lower fee.

I don't really care what region I'm in but I wish they'd charge me in my own AUD currency ~_~ Euros are a bit much considering we're slightly closer to America than we are to Europe physically and when it comes to money wise we're much closer to America (the American dollar is about AU$1.04 whereas the euro is AU$1.35). If Oceanic countries can't have our own region, we should at least be put in the closest one to us.
