If you want the other pre-order items, I'm 99% sure you'll have to pre-order ARROk question I have the standard ffxiv edition with the garlond goggles in game item that came with preordered editions will we get anything special? Cause everything I read apply to the collectors edition. Please clarify about the people who has the garlond goggles in game item will it be there when ffxiv arr launches or dissappear or get a compensation item?. I do hope that for your sake this isn't the case and that a rep can clarify soon
Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

So I've reread the offical responses and made sure to reread the original announcement a few times to see if I was overlooking it, since I dont believe so, I'll ask here.
For those who purchased the 1.0 CE, I understand they are being given the ( In Game ) items for 2.0 automatically without having to repurchase the 2.0 CE, which is a very nice thing. However, what about the physical items that are included with 2.0 CE? Such as the OST, Artbook and video. If I'm assuming correctly those physical items are remaining exclusive to the 2.0 CE and would require a purchase of them. Since that becomes redundant for those who are already pre-registered as CE holders from 1.0, would it be possible to be included in receiving these items, such as it is with the in game items. Or a way to purchase those items separtely from the CE's box set itself, without the game, since we'll already have access to it via digi download?
I realize its kind of nit picky, but I wont know unless I ask.

I need someone to clear something up for me, just to be extra clear:
I have an account, my brother does not. I want the items that come with the CE and my brother wants to play on the PS3. Can I buy a PS3 CE, get the items myself, and give a PS3 account? I'm assuming I can't because there is only one code. Let's say I skip the CE and have him buy his own much cheaper copy for the PS3, will I also be able to play the same PS3 with my account when he is not?

I have a question regarding this..
In the past, when you applied a bonus code to your service account, the items pertaining to that code could only be obtained by characters you created after the code was applied, and the already existing characters could not receive the benefits.
So, if you pre-ordered the PS3 version and applied the pre-order bonus code to an existing Legacy account, would the existing Legacy character(s) be able to receive the pre-order bonus items, or does it only apply to new characters created afterward?

1.0 had that limit while ARR have moogle mail which mean all your bonus item are send to your character by mailI have a question regarding this..

Im still confused, I was thinking of upgrading my 1.0 standart eddition to Collectors one, will it be able before the game launch or only after it?

Does anyone know how to check if you've entered in your Collector's Edition registration code?Users who purchased and registered the FFXIV version 1.0 Collector's Edition, the bonus items will be sent by Mog Letter without having to input any additional codes.
Users who purchased the FFXIV version 1.0 Collector's Edition but did not register the code will need to input the Collector's Edition registration code.

I haven't seen anyone ask this question and I really want to make sure of the answer before I make a purchase. If you have a legacy account and you purchase the Hard copy of the CE, can you use that code on your legacy account or do you need to buy the digital upgrade to be able to apply it to your legacy account?
You can check the Square Enix account management page to see if you registered an onion helm code, unless you purchased/received it from a third party. Other than that, I've seen no way to differentiate.

Camate, a clarrification is in order. I just pre ordered the PS3 CE from SE. On the completion page it stated, in RED, that my order would not ship til after the official release date of 27 Aug 2013. While I am Legacy and will get Early Access via my PC what about all the new subscribers who pre order from SE expecting early release entry. If they chose the default USPS Ground shipping they will not see their product til after the official release date if this true
