Which cover art is your favorite?
For once I honestly don't feel shortcharged compared to the JP version... I love Yoshida's art, but it's a lil too busy for a box art.

EU, Collectors and JP are all awesome. Though why is the NA box art that... meh? Its just uninteresting, especially with the effort of the EU box art of having the player placeholder party layered over the bottom of the art with Gaius at the top just staring at whoever if looking at the boxart. Much creepier. Extra points for having Bahamut on the EU version with the flags of the City States, though where is the Lalafell WHM?
I like the Xenogears HD cover.
I agree, the JP cover is WAY too busy. I think my favorite is the EU..has a nice overall balance. NA, while Baelsar is an awesome villain, the cover feels kinda bland with him just standing there lol.

Collectors is the best by far, but among the others, it maybe because I'm from EU, but that's the one I like the most!
I'm sad I'm not going to have that box (as I'm going to get a PS3 CE), but I don't think I need to have 3 copies of the game... yet.
I always prefer 2D art, so the CE and JP covers are my favorite.
Don't know if I have a favourite! Can I have all please?![]()
Because NA have the shortest attention spans? :P But in all honesty, there's a long history of japanese games getting dumbed down "Westernized" box art for american versions of the game. Suikoden is a perfect example.
JP
NA (hideous)
I imagine they just worry that they need to make it as un-cartoony as possible to appeal to the widest variety of american gamers. The results tend to be pretty lackluster, though.
I like all of them as you se there is a scholar in the JP one but my favorite one is CE And EU!
Collectors Edition without a doubt! The box art along with the fact that it's yoshitaka amonos designs brings back that whole Final Fantasy nostalgia.
