that's what I mean, I didn't know I get charged immediately unlike amazon waits till it ships to charge... I assumed all pre-orders no matter the provider does that.. now I dread being wrong.. looks like ramen for meals till next paycheck...

Hmm, I think every time I have pre-ordered a game from gamestop they have charged me before the release time, I know Amazon policy is a bit different, but it wouldn't surprise me they changed that, if I remember right, there was a lot of scams going on during Tera release where people pre-ordered just to get the code so they could be in the Early Access, and cancelled their order before they got billed for it.

I just placed a pre-order for the PS3 version at EB Games, the Australian version of Gamestop. Their release date information was updated overnight.

The PS3 CE and both standard editions are also up for pre-order. If you worry about the price, this retailer has a price guarentee, so if it does go down in price before the release date, then thats what you pay. Also, the PC version of FFXIV is their current top pre-order as of this writing. HELL YEAH!

The Square Enix Europe store will continue to add new options for FFXIV: ARR in the coming days (including the physical versions!) so please stay tuned! Alternatively, there are retailers that are currently taking pre-orders for those as well!

All I gotta say is XIV better have a presence at the SE booth this year.

New Zealand stores know nothing & have seen nothing BTW eb games is prob the biggest store here (in America is knowen as Game Stop)

Curiously, the AU/NZ box art refers to the standard edition as the "limited edition" and in the bottom right states that it "includes helm of light". For both PC & PS3 versions, on both EB & JB websites.

Meanwhile, am I the only one who prefers the NA cover?

The day before my birthday! What an excellent gift!

My husband and I pre-ordered a couple extra copies. One PC Collector's Edition and a PS3 version. Now we will have all the things! Happy to support SE and Yoshi-P for the amazing work of art FFXIV:ARR has become.

Was doing some thinking today, and when my daughter was born I was really excited for FFXIII.. It actually came out a day after she was born.

Now this year.. I have another girl on the way and another FF title I'm extremely excited for coming out. xD (even though it's a re-release it still counts!)
