FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Pre-Order Bonuses

Customers that pre-order FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (either the Collector's Edition or Standard Edition) will receive special bonuses!


Early Access to FFXIV: A Realm Reborn
If you pre-order FFXIV: A Realm Reborn from a participating retailer and register the pre-order code within the specificied time period, you will be granted access to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn prior to the official launch!

* Details will be announced at a later date with early access commencing prior to launch.
* An internet connection is required for early access.


Pre-Order Bonus In-Game Items
The bonus in-game items (a "Cait Sith Doll Minion" and "Mog Cap") will be delivered to the account that the pre-order bonus code has been registered to.

* The pre-order bonus code will be valid until December 31, 2013.
* Further details will be announced at a later date.


Please note that the pre-order bonus codes are different for the Playstation 3 and Windows versions. Also, please be aware that the number of early access codes will be limited and distribution will cease when the limit has been reached.

* The pre-order bonus code distribution timing and method may vary depending on the retailer.

Yes my first reaction over the news is if my Legacy account will get the items or if they'll want more money from me.

I hope we can get clarification on that soon.

I would like to know if 1.0/Legacy players will be getting the pre-order items as well, as I'd love to have them...but I don't really feel like pre-ordering the game I already have. :/

Could a rep possibly give us some insight to this? Thanks!

I agree I think someone needs to clarify if current players or legacy members will get the preorder items, I mean we have technically had ARR on preorder since it was announced

and on there site im pretty sure they r charging cards as you order

they r they charged mine

after calling customer support they said the only place hold and you will get the money back in a few days. thank god as i cant afford to put out 86.00 right now just for a preorder charge

Do we get the moogle cap and cait sith if we preorder the collector's edition? I doubt we will since we didn't get the garlond goggles for the original collector's

according to my order you will get both preorder items including early access if you preorder either ps3 or pc copy

it also instantly give you a code to use and a website to go on n register for early access

I think it will depend on how Legacy members are granted early access. If it's via the same code that pre-orders get, Legacy gets a Cait Sith minion and Moogle Cap. If there's a special code just for early access, or if it's just based on the Legacy account flag, then we probably won't get them without pre-ordering another copy.

That aside, this bit has me wondering...

That makes it sound like we can't pre-order the PS3 CE for physical items and PS3 usage and apply the pre-order code for the bonus items to our PC account.
