The part at the end sent chills down my spine.. I'm getting too excited. This game has RUINED gaming for me. I don't want to play anything else except for this. My PC is collecting dust, my PS3 hasn't been turned on in MONTHS.. I just go home and look at the same pictures and videos I've already seen just anticipating this game.

My diagnosis: You are suffering from FFXIV ASAP (acute separation anxiety psychosis).

Recommended prescription: The only thing that can save you from FFXIV ASAP is, ironically, getting your hands on FFXIV:ARR ASAP. The longer you go without medication, the more severe the pain could become.

P.S.: I too have FFXIV ASAP, and the second Exploring Eorzea video has only made it worse. Hopefully we can get our prescribed meds soon so we can call ourselves survivors of this dreadful affliction.

but the video is kinda bad quality; which makes it unprofessional.
they should have tried to optimize graphic settings a bit, to get closer to 60FPS.

The PS3 Astalicia/Bismark part is kinda low FPS....maybe you should look at some 60fps videos, and then look at the trailer again

That's an interlacing issue, not a framerate issue. It has nothing to do with performance, but simply with the capture card/interlacing used to capture and encode the video.

The large difference in video quality between PC and PS3 is that capturing PC is just a matter of software, and can be captured directly. PS3 needs to pass via a capture card, with an inevitable loss in quality.

Add to that the fact that youtube has a LARGE problem with videos that include variable framerate (and moving between PC and PS3 the framerate does vary, because PS3 is limited to 30fps) and there's your problem.

People are just exaggerating because the PS3 frame rate is lower than the PC running at 1280x720. Hopefully they'll be able to lock it at 30 for the release version.
