Will there be multiple new jobs available at launch/when is the earliest any new classes (other than ACN) will be introduced?

probably just Summoner. They have only mentioned that they want to add a bunch of others, but since they haven't made any announcements, the chance of them being in at release is minimal.
They cant give dates for anything, that isn't already planned for release.

Can we get a (in-game) explain about this "Armoury Chest"?

Well...live letter is probably gonna show phase 3 gameplay anyways, so chances are they will show it.

In your last live letter you mentioned how Paladin will have an ability which changes based on which Grand Company the player is in, will other Jobs have a similar ability as well?

Why would it only apply to Paladin? that would be absurd.

In a near future, will we get the game translated to other languages such as spanish or will have the chance to make a comunity translated addon when addons are implemented?

They already stated that it will be in German, Spanish, Italian, French also.

Sword Sheaths

Can we get sheaths for our swords or guns? They look silly floating next to our waist. lol

Do you plan to implement a Thief and Ninja class in the future?

yes, they already stated that.

You mentioned in your last letter that they are altering the battle system for phase 3. Since this seems to be the biggest gripe in many of the reviews that have been posted of the beta I am wondering how it is being altered.

since they are doing live letter from phase 3 client (since it's about to start anyways, possibly right after live letter) i'm pretty sure they might show it anyways.

When do we get Ninja?!!

Once and for all, will War be a major tank, a major DPS, or will it be able to do both primary DPS and be a primary tank?

neither and both. Just like in 1.0, you'll be able to DPS and tank.

Will there be consideration for 1.0 players who want to start on a fresh server? e.g. being able to play the exclusive story content without transferring levels/gil/items?
I've heard the Legacy mark will be account based but it would be strange to have the mark and not be recognized by NPCs as a returning player.

And will we be seeing the return of Dhalmel in A Realm Reborn?

you're not really a returning character, if you make a new one...

Will non combative classes (Disciplines of the Hand/Land) be able to pursue a quest grind system of levelling like the combative classes will be able to? If not, why?

i don't think DoL/H get xp from mobs, as for quests...duno, but don't think so.
But as DoL/H shouldn't you be doing what you're supposed to do with the class anyways? you got levequests for them anyways.
the reason is: they are NOT combat classes, so they should NOT combat.

Will there be any FATE's aimed (either primarily or as equals) at gathering and crafting classes?

think they already said no.

When can we expect Dark Knight and Ninja to be playable jobs? Will the Dark Knight job actually branch off of Gladiator? If so, will that mean that Gladiator will also be able to wield two-handed swords?

the game is a fan service game, and they'll eventually (probably) add most previously released major jobs, and maybe new ones. DRK and NIN are popular jobs, and are high on priority list. Right now they want to add more mages first, since there's much less DoM than DoW. i guess maybe within half a year after release they will add some new jobs, by patches.
Gladiator won't suddenly be able to use 2h swords; if DRK comes from GLD, they DRK will use sword/shield too.

When is blue mage coming?

they cant say yet, but see above,

Could we get a confirmation that one of the new hairstyle options for lalafell will be an afro?

you can use all hairstyles on all races, so all races will be able to have Afro

Can you tell us more about PVP leveling and abilities for each class?

maybe in some pvp video; they aren't gonna list all of them in live letter; probably none.

Can you tell us if you plan on letting us summon a primal against a primal?

i think that's part of the point of summoning them.
i assume you wont be able to fight Ifrit with Ifrit though.

how will jobs and classes differ in ARR (besides the obvious)? Will there be major advantages bringing a certain job/class to a dungeon?

each class/job boost 1 stat to party. WHM boosts party Mind for example, they showed this in earlier videos; well at least you can see it, even if they dont talk about it.

Will you continue doing Live Letters even after release to introduce new patch contents? Please do. They're much more fun and interesting than only posts.

can you give us a taste of Crystal Tower or Bahamuts Lair? If you want to throw in some footage of Summoner in action in those locales, that would be acceptable!

not at launch, but maybe later.

It was a well known medieval custom to receive land as a reward for services to king and country. Is there any likelihood that this sort of system will be adopted by the GC's, or at least a distinct gil discount on land prices in that nation if we have kept up with all GC quests and have the highest rank within the GC and have lots of seals?

uhm no.

Will Fate Areas be larger for bigger battles?

why would it need to be larger? are you planning to kite Odin across entire Shroud?
only reason i can see, is to prevent him from reset, but i don't think anyone would survive long enough to run away.

Are there any considerations for an inner-city FATE style battle?

they said so.

What measures will Square Enix have in place for server congestion at launch?

part of the beta is testing congestion.
they will have more servers open, to put less load on each server.
other than that, they cant do much about it.
even Diablo 3 was unplayable for many, first day, or even 1-2 weeks.

Are there going to be anymore war or magic classes released in the game?

plenty, eventually.

First and foremost, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be released in summer 2013. It will be a worldwide release for the PC and PlayStation 3, available in Japanese, English, French, and German. At the end of the month we'll announce the release date, along with pricing and details on the collector's edition. We'll also start accepting preorders at the end of the month.

The ACN/SCH fiasco needs clarification for one, even though I'm sure they'll announce it soon if they do intend on adding it in for launch but that's besides the point. I know people are curious whether they have plans to add any new classes soon (DoH/L included) so I left the question vague. If they have nothing to say on the matter then they won't answer the question.

And frankly your reaction to some of the questions was generally rude and uncalled for, for example LlenCoram's question about fishing and temperature. We KNOW that weather has an effect on fishing, and in XI different RL seasons increased the frequency of certain weather types in game, so it's by no means a question that should receive such a condescending remark. Sure, the maps won't change with the seasons but that wasn't really the question, was it?

To be honest a lot of these responses were condescending and patronising, and I don't really see a reason why this thread needs to exist.

subtitles are acting strange too, sometimes it doesnt show some text, so when i click back, there's subs i didn't see before, so i missed that earlier.

Yoshi is quite restricted in what he can talk about, such as showing arcanist combat, yet people keep asking about stuff that he cant comment on. especially content that's not even finished, if even started.
and lots of the questions are stuff you could reason out with common sense.

and the post exists, to answer peoples questions; that Yoshi probably wont answer, or have answered already.
so i think it's better if people ask here first, and if there's no answer, then you can post it in LL-VII thread.

That being said, I'm going to "speculate" here at the comment by OP that we are "over analyzing" the SCH thing (that "Wheel pic" I presume.)

ya i know speculations are bad
but i think it's safe to assume that they wont answer anything about scholar, until they at least make some official notice about it; so it just feels pointless to ask about it. At most they might say: oh we might be adding scholar at some time in the future
When i say *probably* only summoner will be in at release, it's cause i'm 99% sure it will be. Arcanist isn't even finished yet, which is why they can't show anything about it, so since no other class has even been talked about, the chance of any more jobs being there at release, is very small. But as you said, thats just speculations too it kinda depends on when the game will launch.
But this is also why i roll my eyes at some questions, and occasionally end up with those snide remarks -.- and why i didn't ask any questions myself yet
i just think people should think their questions over, a bit, before posting them; and i should think about my replies first ^^
