Alchemist we all felt in XI & XIV to be role which wasn't very profitable comparing to other crafting jobs.

Is there a chance this game will a free-to-play MMORPG just like the rest of Pay-to-play MMORPG these days?

How will ARR story quests and other quests be effected by 1.0? Will there be any difference between a new char and a 1.0 char? Some ppl talk about Legacy, but you can have legacy and never done a single quest during the whole 1.0 time. So will you be able to see all of ARR story even though you made all story in 1.0? I love lore/story content, so I wounder if my 1.0 char will be able get all the same quests and lore/story as a new ARR player will, or even more than a new player?
As there has been repeated interest in having multiple jobs stem from one class, will the system be altered in a way to make the two coming from the same base more unique from one another via greater skill and stat difference?
Besides relics/af and crafted/normal gear being upgrade-able what other weapons and gear will be upgrade-able? For instance being able to do "synthesis" on equipment like ffix in FFXiV example: morbid mogblade and ifrit's blade to make a new primal weapon or just upgrade the base weapon mogbalde and gaining a portion of stats from the ifrit weapon.
Will I be able to pre-order and purchase FFXIV ARR Collector's Edition (retail package for PC) and apply that code and all of it's benefits to my 1.0 Account/Character?
I only have one SE account, to which numerous "permanent options" are attached - including XIV Windows (Oct 2, 2010), Garlond Goggles (Oct 2, 2010), Legacy (May 20, 2012), Beta access, etc.; as well as XI and multiple expansions, POL, Security Token...
Will we be able to attach a brand new CE game code to our existing XIV accounts, thereby adding that CE and it's benefits to our list of permanent options and enjoy its benefits account wide, including our 1.0 characters?
Will there be an opportunity to test 24-man content before official release?
In the original pre-order of FFXIV there were items(onion helm etc) that were given for the pre-order. However many, including myself, were to exited to get in game and did not realize we had to register the codes before creating a character. For those of us that never got those item, will we be able to get them now?
Will Sil'dih(Ul'duh's long buried sister city) ever make an appearance in ARR?
Can we get details about Chocobo breeding?
Will there be a wide variety of Grand Company items available for seals?
Will Company-issue Engineering/Survival Manual's still be available?
Will Company-issue Expectorant/Tonic still be available?
Can we get a "punt lalafell" emote?
Will there be Dhalmels?
How will gil-sellers/botters etc be handled?
