DEVs please respond - Recommended System requirements posting..when?

Just as the title says. I haven't been floating on these forums in awhile, but wanted to ask, to when we might be able to see when the recommended system specs are going to be posted. Trying to get a build idea together but dont want to dive prematurely.

Even with a recommended specs you can't really follow that. But if you want a idea on what they may be the beta spec should not change much from now to release.

    OS: Windows® 7 64bit
    CPU: Intel® Core™ i5
    Memory: 4GB
    Hard Drive/SSD Space: 20GB
    Graphics Card: NVIDIA® Geforce® GTX 5xx series AMD Radeon™ HD 7970

If you looking for a video card should wait for the 700s if your a NVIDA fan.

Not necessarily.. The 7 series is just going to be an overclocked 6 series really.
You may as well get a GTX 680/690/titan and overclock it, if you are looking for top end.
The 7 series has already been leaked to use near identical hardware, just with raised clocks.
I don't think it will be worth an upgrade from a 6 series.

Typical repackage move, card manufactures do this all the time.

An article on how it leaked.

Yes i know only the 800s would be worth getting for the update in hardware. I was thinking of getting myself a 660s but if i can find a good deal on a GTX 760T i just get that over a normal 660 seeing how 760 is base on the 670s but ya overall if you looking for a good cheap card the 600s would work just as good as the 700.

That is not all fact, the 770 and below are nearly identical to the previous 600 cards. The 780 however are based on the GK110 architecture and will be more similar to Titan and Telsa cards.

700 series is another 9000 series with only the highest end model being worth the investment.

So, I sort of upgraded a bit ago from a Nvidia 240 to a 560 (because of the prior recommended specs being 5xx). Now it's a 660 specifically. Any benefit to upgrading? And would my system benefit or bottleneck a 660?

If you want you can upgrade to a 660 but you don't have too. I mean you could simple play the game without issue but if you want to play later on with DX11 you may need something stronger but who knows just wait and see.

Save money and wait too SE release the DX11 update if you can't play at the setting you want then upgrade your video card to something that could. By then you should have more then enough money to buy yourself a nice 700s video card
