There's a rough one =b I expect it'll be either the weekend before E3 or the weekend after it...
So either the 8th or the 15th of June! Hopefully the 8th... may even be the first!

"Early June" was last month's old news. Only a week ago Yoshi-P said "the beginning of June". Now with a LIVE letter vidcast scheduled on May 30, it looks like it could even be as early as May 31 (June 1 in Japan).

That LIVE letter looks like where they'll announce the release date. Maybe also the release of the game trailer(s) and preorder info, if that hasn't happened before then.

by the roadmap i was hoping ph4 would start by E3.

Hmm. Perhaps before the delay, but at this point it looks like maybe by early July for Phase 4. But once we know the release date, speculating on Phase 4 and Early Access starts may mostly be irrelevant.

What about waiting a couple weeks, since they're going to invite everyone that ever had an account and there's no beta to take part in now to begin with?

yes ofc, they invited non-legacy to both alpha and beta; they want opinions from new players too.
if you had an ACTIVE account when servers went down in 1.23, you'll get invite before p3 starts.
