I'm excited if this is gear space to be made separate from normal inventory space.

It looks that way! The inventory gear space in that ss is displayed as the pips on the bottom-right of the screen and is @13/100 with 87 slots empty.

I sorta wished that people would use better topic titles lol. I almost completely ignored this topic because I thought it was one of the "I have an idea/suggestion or let's talk about a feature." threads.

Those kind of threads are always prefixed with "Suggestion:" or "For the DEVS" or "ATTENTION DEV'S"
