Release of FFXIV ARR Software and PRICES!?!?!

I just read the latest letter from Yoshida and in it he mentions the release of FFXIV this summer and pricing to be announced at the end of the month. I'd like some clarification on that, does this mean those who already bought the game (crappy edition) back in 2010 are going to have to buy it again?

I'm asking because I'm quite sure I read somewhere those who paid before will be able to download the new version free of charge.

It's been confirmed multiple times that those who bought 1.0 get a free download of ARR. That hasn't changed.

But those new to the game, PS3 players, and those who just want to get the new CE for collectible reasons or to get the box items will have to pay for it. And I'm sure they'd like to know pricing details.
