Release of FFXIV ARR Software and PRICES!?!?!

I just read the latest letter from Yoshida and in it he mentions the release of FFXIV this summer and pricing to be announced at the end of the month. I'd like some clarification on that, does this mean those who already bought the game (crappy edition) back in 2010 are going to have to buy it again?

I'm asking because I'm quite sure I read somewhere those who paid before will be able to download the new version free of charge.

They already said officially that those that got 1.0 won't have to buy it again. Many times.

If you already have 1.0 then you're good to go!

I surf the forums all the time, but rarely post . All I was looking for was clarification to make sure I was correct in seeing them say those who owned the game before won't have to pay.

The person's join date is in 2011. They're not new to the forums.

Not posting a lot doesn't necessarily mean your new, nor does having a lot of posts mean you've been around a very long time. Some people post a lot and others don't.

If you have the original game's product key registered to your SE account you will be able to download the ARR software at no cost. (except your soul)

I'm sure SE will make it much more clearer how they will distribute it once the game is within days of release.
