    I might be wrong, but isnt Thaliak a Water Guardian anyway?! I havent really looked into it since Creating my character way back at launch so am probably wrong, but I picked Thaliak, and I coulda swore I went for a Water based guardian....

    Now I'm confuzzled.
    Regardless, it's still a question I'd like to know the answer to =) If Thaliak is Water+ then that's just a bonus!

    Edit: Nope, you're right! Halone & Menphina are ice. Thanks for clearing that up, looks like I'll be staying Thaliak anyways! Arigatou Gozaimasu.

    thaliak is also Astral while Nymeia is Umbral.

    Ooh, as character generation was one of the things that the NDA has been lifted on; so far, as of Beta Phase 2, there isn't a difference in resistances for deities of the same element whether they're Astral or Umbral.
