This without mentioning that there's enough drama in MMORPGs without implementing an officially sanctioned drama system

Drama is what makes things memorable? Do you really want to play every single thing safe, without even a moment's conflict? Where would Eorzea be without the Garlean Empire?

Every story needs a conflict, including ours. There's never enough of it in the FFXIV I play.
