Drama is what makes things memorable? Do you really want to play every single thing safe, without even a moment's conflict? Where would Eorzea be without the Garlean Empire?

Every story needs a conflict, including ours. There's never enough of it in the FFXIV I play.

I really hope the trolls end up leaving these forums once the whole "These forums are new, I have to go check them out now" thing dies down... Because if people like Kiroh are here to stay then not much discussion is going to happen.

I am not sure I could answer this question I have not played tera so I cannot comment on anything. Alot of the stuff look interesting, but as we all know looks can be deceiving when you try them.

The whole Action MMO thing sorta sounds good but I would have to try it. I would be afraid it would lose all the RPG feeling with that kind of system. And that is what a Final Fantasy is at heart.

What I would like to see SE take from Tera is the use of placement and more strategy into the fights. To much mindless zerg in FFXIV currently.

In the end FFXIV needs to be its own thing, can borrow idea but in the end it has to be unique.

I do like TERA's customization. I LOVE the action oriented combat and some of their spell effects. Armor designs are a plus and their range in mob types is plenty and not a different colored mob like XIV

Well, other than the fact the half the things you mentioned either already exist or are waiting to be implemented and the other half are things that SE has said time and again that they will NEVER add. So what exactly are you suggesting, because most of the stuff you posted has (time and again) been addressed by SE.
