Yeah, actually Dragoon wasn't the only one loldrg. I remember how lucky I was that I got my blm to 75 before it became a new loldrg that they had to make a manaburn party because no one wanted them anymore. It's kind of broken job system FFXI has made. lol

Hopefully, FFXIV won't be like that again. >.<

They are sent in the frontline like fresh flesh! ehehe

But knights are the only pieces able to jump over others... they should be the dragoons :/ (and there's only two knights, how convenient!)

exacly, lore-wise it can exist only one dragoon per era, and the story is already contradicting right now because in the game now are 2 : yourself and Estinien

I would support this "because the lore says so", but it doesn't work for the WHM. That robe is supposed to be one-of-a-kind, and created from a unique elemental that only appeared because of the Seventh Umbral Era. (It volunteered! It's bad enough I have to wear a living thing, but couldn't they give me longer pants?)

Umo's explanation about the 5-race limit is probably the only good example. The only intro-cutscene character left to use was the Male Elezen, and he would make a fine DRG, but the BLM sort of represents both he and the Female Elezen in that it's hard to tell visually which gender the BLM is. (confirmed to be the female)
