Producer Letter XLV ?

There was a mention that Yoshi P was working on a letter a while ago I thought... maybe I read that wrong.

Just curious if we might be getting any more infomation dumps before June, or if we are already in a pre E3 info lockout.

Seems a little soon to be, but if that is the case I can see if there might be a little problem getting past the marketing people.

lol. This is funny because every time Yoshi releases some information he looks around for the laser sight.

I think we'll be a couple weeks before we hear something. At the NicoNico, they mentioned something around the 20th of May.

Er, I'm sure the next Letter is always just around the corner.

As for news lockout, they'll surely have to at least announce something before preorders go on sale, about 2 weeks from now. And there's that (voiced?) trailer coming around that time, too. Phase 3 could even happen before E3. Lots of info and activity should happen around that time, too.

Didn't Yoshida say something last week about wanting to get the next Producer's Letter out as fast as possible?

Either way, it's definitely overdue, considering it's been over a month since the Live Letter.

Certainly I don't blame them, since they are no doubt hard at work pushing the beta out the door. That being said, it is certainly frustrating how long it has been since the last big update from Yoshi-P. I feel spoiled, thinking back to the days of no updates at all, being frustrated at a mere month without new information. But what can I say, just means I'm excited to hear what he would have to say.

My guess is he's either:

1. Tied down by some date by SE so that he doesn't announce anything 'too early'
2. He's waiting until Sony and SE have ironed everything out so he can announce the start of Phase 3 within the letter and/or talk about and show off the PS3 in detail (I'm expecting the next letter to be heavy on PS3 information).
3. Not that he or the Devs are resting on their laurels, but maybe they are taking a couple weeks of downtime to be doing a lot of behind the scenes development and work...because it seems once Phase 3 is out the door it will be crazy busy until ARR release....and even then it doesn't ease up for a couple more weeks until they know the ships sailing smoothly.

Also, the translators, who translate what he writes for non-JA speakers, are all grinding out in game dialogue and game texts like crazy too...meaning, for all we know, the letter is written but has yet to be implemented :P

Usually seems that the closer you get to E3, the less likely it is that companies want to leak any information.

Tried to get myself some FF fix by setting up FFXI, now on top of the 40$ wasted for the game I have therapy bills to get past the trauma that the account setup process caused.

I won't lose hope till the 10th or so... I haven't re-installed WoW yet...

The therapy bills for account setup are bad, just wait until the therapy bills when you hit cap, there what killed me

Around may the 20th the game will be available for preorder. We'll get a bunch of information then, that's pretty much for sure.
