FFXIV Bahamut vs. WoW Deathwing - Who Wins?

Think the closest dragon in WoW lore to the FF 14 Bahamut would probably be Galakrond, and even then id be one hell of a fight hehe.

there isn't much "lore" for Galakrond though, except that he was the "progenitor" of dragons and was bigger than all 5 aspects combined. It took the 5 flights to take him down apparently too.

Bahamut comes out of the top half of a "moon" >.> Guessing he is pretty frikking big :P not to mention his ability with "magic" seems really strong, strong enough to "fight" off the imprisonment of the 12 <.<

Hopefully, Bahamut won't be like in FFXI. Bahamut's battle in FFXI is meh in my opinion.

did you actually do the real Bahamut (v.2) battle, where he summons the other wyrms kirin-style? and if so, did you actually do it at level 75 cap, before TP burns? there was nothing 'meh' about it. before it was trivialized it was hands-down the hardest fight in the game outside of PW and AV.

if you're referring to the other one, though, sure it was underwhelming. they couldn't have made it much harder though without causing a tsunami of tears. people endlessly complained about promyvion difficulty, after all.

Well, if the trailer we got is any indication, we just may get one seriously awesome fight! Unlike the one with Deathwing, that makes me go to sleep.
