Garuda has no qualms with Oschon

So I was looking at the new page on the official website concerning the Ixal when I had a complete and utter WTF moment...



That's the mark of Oschon....on an Ixal's staff.

Oh, and then there was the Llymlaen incident.

You know that could easy be explain by they raid a gridania camp or small army and took there weps and stuff. Just because there smart and are beastmen does not mean they are blacksmith that could make that type of wep for themselfs.

I could be wrong could be something else but that make the most sense with the small information we have on ffxiv lore.

I'm willing to bet it's a mild oversight on the part of the battle team. Either that or it's an oversight on the Ixal's part.

I must admit I've always been intrigued that Ralgr's description matches Ramuh's pretty closely.

Check out the Amal'ja they have a symbol on their staff too seems to be a wave with a stroke upwards? or something like that its a bit less well defined.

Edit: Maybe it's Naldthal? seems to be the closest fit, a circular symbol with a wave through it.

Do you have a pic? The images on the Amalj'aa section feature weapons marked with the Amalj'aa symbol, namely that spear.

iT's in the picture of the two Amalj'aa. It doesn't come out so well because of how small the waves are on the staff/scepter/jewel but it does look like a wave pattern and the jewel itself could represent the circular line around the wave that Naldthal's symbol is. Or it may be that it's only one of the two brother's symbol on the jewel? or i could be making something from something hardly legible lol.
