End game on ARR, merit points =)

I was of the impression that merits focus more on specializing your abilities' strength, rather than your stats.

both, if memory serves. you could merit emnity.. Or your skill with a particular weapon, or VIT etc plus, new or upgraded abilities.

this is true and they still do it for max lvl jobs however jobs and classes both get updated versions of skills at certain lvls sso there is no need to upgrade more, I do support this for gains skills outside normal lvling skills and quested skills (However you don't get upgraded skill perks on other jobs/class then the base class/job or that how it was in 1.o don't know if they plan to change for ARR)
