Hmm I'm not sure I agree with you there. Certainly, the character customization pales in comparison to, say, City of Villains or Champions Online, but other than those it's a great improvement over most other MMOs I've played. Combined with the sheer quality of the character models, my heart's not breaking that I don't have fine control over the RGB shade of my eye color. After all, as in real life your eyes can only be a few colors depending on your genetic makeup.

Not to imply more selection wouldn't be nice, and I hope to see more hair styles and colors (possibly in an expansion) but to act as if the character creation is completely lackluster and barebones is a bit unfair. Besides, if having the color selection limited to a preset range of colors rather than a complete swatch means the game will run better because it doesn't need to load complex color data for every character, I'm all for it. This game is very mean to people's machines as it is, it doesn't need to strain them any more.
