SE Members Ads not on the forums?

Why am I finding out about things like this after the fact? I heard you could get the FFXIV poster we've all been asking for, but didn't know there was a promotion until now. I don't even use SE members because normally I don't see anything interesting, but if I'd known there were XIV things on there I might have started using it.

I guess I'm just a little peeved nobody thought to let us know on the forums there was a way to get a poster. No, it's technically not free I don't think (you need SE Members points), but it was still easy to get...if we know about it.

Oh, I knew about the SE Members 'rewards', what I didn't know originally was how to get the specific original reward for FFXIV 1.0 (Asuran Armlets) until after the event. Apparently though it will be retained for ARR, and as I have a first-release copy of FFXIII... :3

That's the first I've heard of a poster though. That sounds intriguing. (P.S. what does this have to do with the 'lore' forum?)
