Seeing problems for old servers at ARR release?

I should hope that the new servers are powerful enough to deal with at least 3x the characters that the 1.0 2010 servers could, on account of better hardware and software being in use.

That's conjecture on my part, but I don't think it's an unreasonable assumption given what we've been told so far.

a server is software that controls everything and serves the client. the hardware is one big interconnected mesh of shared power. not sure if they use VM's but i pertty sure they do to run whatever is on there data center.

the only thing thats going to be the same is the name of the server.
