    ... *sigh*

ANY DirectX code is windows only. They won't port it to the PS4 because the PS4 doesn't run windows. They will port the openGL version (if at all).

My hope and expectation is that your computer will be able to do more with less effort (this was my understanding). Look/play better with lighter load percentages. Would this be accurate?
Yes, that's about it. All newer GPUs are DX11 compatible, so if they implement DX11 features your GPU will automatically use it. At least most games detect which mode they have to launch in automatically, from what I saw.

I see people "complaining" that they "only" get a 30% CPU load, as if they want their processor to be doing 80% or something. Similar complaints with GPU use. This confuses me. Do they WANT their computers to work harder?
Well, it's one thing if your GPU/CPU is running at 60fps and using only 30% of the resources (= hardware "too powerful" for the game), and completely another when it stutters like hell while not using all of the resources (= bad optimization)

Not quite automatically. It would be a separate client than the DX9 one, so you'd click on a different .exe file. Still pretty simple though.

Without DX 11, you won't get tesselation and other features.
I do 3d animation for a living sometimes, it actually matters.
It also helps improve performance in general.

Regardless I bought 2x gtx 680 and the more I can push em, the better. :P
    I wants.. All the tea...
