I play the song on the piano, it's one of my favorites, and it's from my favorite FF game. It's not good mount music. On a tangent, one of the things that I thought was really nice about the Gobbue music is that it seems to borrow from Searching for Friends without being Searching for Friends, while simultaneously being more appropriate for an MMO setting. The remixed Terra's theme does neither. It's still Terra's theme; not as good as the MIDI or orchestral versions in my opinion, and doesn't give context to riding around on a Magitek mount.

Since Chocobos and Goobbues have mount music, it should be the mount music for Magitek armor!

Not a good mount theme IMO but maybe they will throw us a little fan service with some FFVI-ish music in the mount music or maybe throw us a Kefka laugh.

I don't think it is meant to be mount music, either.

Yet, strangely, I want it to be incorporated as mount music, partially because it doesn't fit.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't like that remix. I hope it's not in the game. It [as in the original] also has no qualities that make it a good mount music. It's a very dramatic and foreshadowing score.

with that said, i think it would be a great piece for a zone in the snowy area's.

I personally want it as the mount music. It works just fine. Calm, relaxing riding music. The Goobbue mount music was in the same vain.

I never implied it should be the music you listen to while riding. I'm just saying in general I thought it was a nice piece of music and I'd like to be able to hear it in its entirety, whether they introduce it during an important cutscene in game, or separately from the game.

The original soundtrack of FFXIV had some pieces that were very similar to music from older games, so I don't see why it'd be a big deal if a remake of a song from FF6 made it into the game.

The Moogle boss theme in particular is a recurring melody, but Terra's theme is sort of specific to FF6, and I feel it should remain a unique piece to that game. If it makes a cameo in a private jukebox, however, I won't complain. Or maybe as seasonal event music.
