The Song in the Magitek Trailer

Do you think you could pass it on to Soken/the dev. team that if they don't plan to put the song from the Magitek trailer into the game that they could at least release a full length version of it in mp3 format? I really like the modernized version of the FF6 song.

Terra's Theme is one of my favorite tracks from the whole series. I'd be very much disappointed if it didn't make it with the magitek now that they've teased me with it.

I never implied it should be the music you listen to while riding. I'm just saying in general I thought it was a nice piece of music and I'd like to be able to hear it in its entirety, whether they introduce it during an important cutscene in game, or separately from the game.

The original soundtrack of FFXIV had some pieces that were very similar to music from older games, so I don't see why it'd be a big deal if a remake of a song from FF6 made it into the game.

I think you're right that it's not good mount music (which should be more upbeat), but that doesn't mean the track couldn't still appear in game in some sort of easter-eggy fashion in the same way that Good King Moggle Mog's theme was a remix of Mog's Theme from VI.
