That was pretty spot on actually, people will crucify a VA for mis-pronunciation of a name but JP voice actors get a free pass when they butcher Western names and words phonetically.
I guess It's because they are superior in every way It's not held over their heads as a fault like other VAs.![]()

Sounds like hearsay to me: "hey, some people I may or may not know give Japanese VAs a free pass for name pronunciation, obviously everyone must do that!"

Bingo.I can only say that I cringe at broken English just as much as I cringe at any broken language... on the inside that is.
What I see happening here is, once again, a group of people being judged by the minority of their members. How many "OMFG KAWAII DESUUU UGUUU" people do you really know?
