After a talk with my Room mate, who is also Legacy, he's decided to go with his real name while I have decided to go with my character name because there is only one Kavaskous, and in the end it makes no difference which name ends up in the credits.

I know that I want to submit my real name, but I saw something which makes me a bit uneasy.
Already wrote that in a German Thread, but maybe someone over here saw this too.
Well, I got two FFXIV services and one of them (#1) is closed while #2 is the one with my character and Legacy. When I wanted to submit my name, I saw that it says "Final Fantasy XIV 1" but no option to select "Final Fantasy XIV 2".
Anyone else happens to be in that situation or do you think that this matters? :S
I don't know if I should contact the support for this.

I kinda wish we could use both our real name and our character name.

Like:
Real forename "Character Name" Surname
Real forename surname - "Character Name"

I'm wondering what reasons are some of you not putting your real name. Aside from the ones that already explained in this thread. Besides the obvious, "I can't use my real name because of characters or spaces" what other reasons are you guys choosing to use your character names. I'm planning to use my real name, I'm just trying to see why you guys want your character names instead.
