ya sadly the only way to do that is start over on the new worlds they making.Well.... I played from the beginning and the most Gil I ever made was 6 Million. SO I will start with 600k into ARR.
I really hope Houses are not to expensive and I really wish I could get an another Server without broken Economy.... since I will have a hard time on old Servers with so many people having tons of Gil

The mods will likely monitor large transfers of gil in short periods of time.
that is sad cos those with alot of cashwill buy all small house and make them and sell them expensive and when there a new slot they will stay connected 24h/7 to get it as soon as possible so people with no house who want to buy from NPC wont be able ...I agree there really noting to waste your money on. But the demand would go down less then 1month even tho yoshi-p said it would take a while for people to get access to get homes. I don't see it being as hard as he said it going to be. You could always buy a small house and upgrade it later once the cost is down. But even if there noting to waste your money on. One day they going to be something you need to buy with gil and you be like fucked wish i save my money and by that time gil may be hard to come by.
You can have more then 1 house per city so i think people can buy 5+homes in eachother make them look awesome. Then sell them for for loads of money and make profit. Also they never going to run out of spots the more demand there is for the homes the more slots open up by the npcs. The less the demand is the less the lot would cost to buy and less it would make slots to the demand goes up again,.
at least that what i understood when yoshi-p talk about homes few months back.
Anyway i wont beleive about all this treath info until ARR is release or that Yoshi-P put an official Post on how Housing will work , an not player saying thing or posting thing when i can't find any post of Yoshi-P talking of it.
There is a simple answer to this problem: start fresh and enjoy the game on a new server, while still carrying your veteran experience.

reason i wont find the link for it because it would take me forever he said this a while back in a interview i believe. But ya house work on demand. Also from the other post you said you don't have to buy a house from a player. There always be lot for sell by NPC when the demand is high more instances would be made.
From the new information we got in this live letter pretty they be a limit how many Big house can be in each instance. Which tell us you can have lot's of small homes in one zone and then other zone with maybe 2-4 big homes 6 small and a few med homes.
but really don't worry about it just don't go crazy and buy a house soon you get access that just be a waste of money. I be waiting to the npc sell them cheap because there no reason to have a house so early on when all the fun things like taking care a chocobo or growing stuff wont be added to month later in a patch.

because nobody can/will bot for gil in 2.0? lol. I fail to see the point OP is making.
I like how OP only has 1 like on his thread after almost 2000 views. Why would RMT want houses, they just want to sell their gold. On the bot topic you think these botters made millions off of crafting what over and over, like shards that sell for almost nothing?
The people that have real rich money are honest people that crafted expensive gear and materia stuff and these people deserve their house, OP is just mad he cant afford a small house and wants equal rights as the people that play 12 hours a day.
If SE will do an achievement system based on account (like WoW) and not based on character, i'll do.
But I don't want miss old 1.0 only achievments or the goobbue mount to reroll a new character.
