Dunno if you meant me in particular, however, I'm not saying re-do every single animation. The ones that are currently in the game, are great. But if getting people into a mocap studio to make new animations is what it takes to make the game feel better, then that's what it'll take.

Many people aren't totally happy with current animations, according to one of the polls. Also, look at Luminous Spire for Gladiator. That's probably more unrealistic than anything I could possibly come up with for animations. Example, the last Lancer WS hits many times. I don't think it's unreasonable to have an animation similar to Penta Thrust from FFXI, where the character simply stabs with the lance 5 times. And they don't *have* to go back to a mocap studio for new animations, there is still the old fashioned way.

In the end, it's not a game breaker for me by any means, if they don't add new animations, I'm still in this for the long haul.
