    If the changes are the first step great, STATE IT as such. In the post they could write this is the first of many steps to improve the battle animations... As it stands now, it seems to me a quick fix and they are considering the matter resolved.

    The increased spell effects are nice and all, they don't make things worse by any means, however I agree with the others here who say that it needs to be part of a greater commitment, improving all the other effects as well. As a Lancer, I'm very disappointed by the lousy Weapon Skill animations, they are repeated, boring, and need improving. Same with most of the other classes. Using the same animation for most of my skills is just very uninspiring, and makes things very stale, very quickly. I hope the planned changed to battle mechanics include an overhaul of animations, especially for the current "ultimate" Weapon Skills. I also agree that the dev team really needs to communicate more information about planned changes. The fact that they are speaking with us at all is good, but we need to hear a lot of details, not simple little changes that don't mean squat on their own.

    Also, making certain effects bigger would make things worse, depending on what they are. An increase in side of the "wind" effect on Skewer II would just make it obnoxious.
