PS3 limitations?

I never said that they couldn't tone down the GRAPHICS of the PS3 version without limiting PC. What about content that needs to be the same between users, like the size of areas? Also, plenty of game content is server-side and has to be the same between PS3 and PC users if they want to share servers.

There is more to a game than just stuff like textures, which can be scaled down for the ancient hardware of the PS3.

Please educate yourself... if you knew anything about ARR, you would know that 'PS3 limitations' is already a thing.

No content in modern MMOs is server-side. All the actual content resides and streams from the player's hard disk (which is unlimited for both platforms involved). All that the servers handle is positional, combat, database and character data, which obviously has nothing to do with the platform as it's extremely small in size. It's nothing else than numbers.

Before you tell people to "educate themselves" you may want to do it yourself. It would help with making your trollthreads more believable.

This matter has already been beat to dead horse status (and you very well know as you took part in it, showing your true colors clearly), Yoshida himself confirmed very clearly and with no space for ambiguity that there won't be any limitation due to the PS3 platform, so this thread is moot, and a thinly veiled copy of your previous trollthread.
