I would like more beard options for Lalas!

Not everything should be on every race. The options and features should be appropriate for their vision of what the race generally looks like.

Its my belief that if their vision for Lalafells was entirely "cutesy", they wouldn't have added the moustache/mutton chops combo I now use in the first place. It's not a very very far stretch at all from there to go for a full beard.

But again, it's ultimately their choice. If they do add it, they would probably do so in a way that doesn't detract from the games art style. It's Final Fantasy, I can't think of any one thing they've done so far that hasn't at least looked the part.

If they don't, oh well! Your cringe nerves are saved!

I would be inclined to disagree.
The lore and already existing character creation options for the Lalafell Males are very clear - regardless of their stature or the shape of their face; these are fully grown men.

They have facial hair, they have deep voices and they have options for battle scars, piercings etc - things you may attribute to a 'Manly' character.
Asking for a different kind of facial hair is still very Canon. Actually I would not be surprised if in the future we encounter a wizard beard slinging Lalafell NPC/main story character from the Mytics/insertmagicclasshere guild.

That is quite a stretch. You equate Lala beards to private organs? Come on, you're better than that lol.

You're arguing aesthetic/cosmetic vs risque/offensive.

While I agree lalafells are too cutsey, that doesn't mean there aren't others who don't take the race seriously. Female lalafells got a bust size option, after all. A beard for males is NOT asking much, really.

As has been mentioned by everyone else your comparisons are way off. Having a beard on Lalafell is equivalent to adding male genitalia to female characters.... really? I mean are you THAT much agaisnt beards that you start making wild comments like this?

I usually agree with alot of your posts but man you left the planet with that one. This "Cutesy" race would not be destroyed with the addition of having beards. Infact it would only further enhance their cuteness 100-fold.

He's not asking for Lalafells to have 10 ft long space beards or anything outrageous, hes asking for a simple addition of a beard most people would find suitable for just about anyone and to some even attractive.
