When existing 1.0 characters finally choose a server will there be a way to make sure there is no one on that server with a conflicting name? It would be really unfortunate to try and be on a server with your friends to find a few locked out because of a name conflict.

Can you give us more details about Monk? You said it would string together combos endlessly but from the little we have seen it seems to play like the other DD classes. Does it also have a long range attack? Hopefully some spin kick chakra blast

Will Relics still be obtainable with a dedicated 8-person group like before? My group was not able to finish before the end of 1.0 and I am worried that we will need a huge group to finish them.

Will there be a separate introduction or storyline for new characters as compared to characters returning from 1.0?

If we buy a Small House and later want to upgrade to the Medium or Large House, do we need to buy a new and bigger piece of land and build a new bigger house there?
Or we only need to buy a expansion of land and add rooms to our currently Small House to make it Medium size?

It has been mentioned that players will receive a "mark" that identify them as survivors of Dalamud.

Will all the characters created during v 1.0 receive the mark regardless of how many quests did they complete? (for example, mules)

Or only those that finish the Seventh Umbral Era storyline will get the mark?

In other words, what are the requirements to qualify for "the mark"?

Can we know now what it its and how it looks?

What will happen to our race/gender specific gears (for example: underwear/small clothes) if we decide to change the race or gender of our character at launch? (for example: from female Lalafel to male Miqo'te)

After all, they won't be tradeable anyway.

Is the "A relic Reborn" quest gonna change, and if so, what will change?

Related, will the quest for the first relic weapons be the next job quest after the one for the body piece, having its own story, not being copy/paste for each weapon, but maintaining the overall difficulty (kind of a suggestion I already made as well :P)

Will we be able to travel to Al Mingo, or will that have to wait for an expansion. Also will other lands occupied by the empire come in expansions?

What items for houses besides roofs will crafters be able to make? Will it be possible for a crafter to build more of the house, like walls, chimneys, foundation, 'The whole house'?
