I didn't read it as him trying to be a jerk. I just think people need to lighten up and not take things so seriously or just clarify what they mean instead of causing un-needed drama.Instead of being a jerk, you could have been nice...or, and I know this is hard, not said anything at all. You knew exactly what they meant.
As to the Yukikaze's post you originally responded to: By having both their old FFXI and current FFXIV token, as you can use both tokens for both games, they have a 'backup' token to use if one dies. Therefore, they have no real need of a smartphone app for the same thing. (not that they or others won't prefer the Smartphone App)

I can only echo what others have said, please consider releasing a Windows Phone 8 app as well.

I;m actually a bit against it being a mobile app, especially for devices coded similarly to windows, because I worried that hackers might hack into the app, discover the one-time password's algorithm and ruin the integrity of the device... It is a bit more difficult to do so on the physical device since you need to have knowledge about circuits and a device read coding from the circuits...

I am hoping that we will be able to use either the Security Token or the phone app interchangeably, depending on what is most convenient at the time. Wonder if that could be the case, or will we have to only have one enabled, and therefore if we choose to go phone-app, we'll have to disable our security token. Hmm
What happens when your security tokenexpiresruns out of batteries (ie my physical version). Can I switch from physical to mobile? Thanks in advance for any answers
edit: terminology FAIL![]()
