You use that word, but I do not think it means, what you think it means.
I wasn't being sarcastic, I was being pedantic about your post. Using "i still have" in reference to an unreleased product with no qualifier that you were in fact referencing an existing physical token.
Nothing idiotic about it my post at all, what is idiotic is people claiming they "still have" something that doesn't exist. Whilst it would be nice of me to presume they are of course referencing the physical token, being nice isn't a requirement to post, which is likely why you thought it ok to rebute by implying I am an idiot.
Also: Windows phone. Whilst I wish you all the best in getting this app, I wouldn't hold your breath.
I had a physical token from FFXI, but I lost it. I can't remember how I even got one... maybe from the mail? There must have been an in-game item included if I actually paid for something so silly. I remember them charging like $10+ for that little sucker.
Yes, the FFXI one was a small chunk of change ($10 maybe?), and we got not an item, but Spaaaaaaaace! The in-game incentive was the "Mog Satchel", almost like a second gobbiebag, which doubled our inventory.
I'm still using my FFXI token for FF14.
I'll switch to the app if it can be used on more than one device. If not, I might just switch to the FF14 physical token I got in the 1st CE. Unless the ARR CE comes with one and is cooler.

Instead of being a jerk, you could have been nice...or, and I know this is hard, not said anything at all. You knew exactly what they meant. You use that word, but I do not think it means, what you think it means.

As to the Yukikaze's post you originally responded to: By having both their old FFXI and current FFXIV token, as you can use both tokens for both games, they have a 'backup' token to use if one dies. Therefore, they have no real need of a smartphone app for the same thing. (not that they or others won't prefer the Smartphone App)
I didn't read it as him trying to be a jerk. I just think people need to lighten up and not take things so seriously or just clarify what they mean instead of causing un-needed drama.Instead of being a jerk, you could have been nice...or, and I know this is hard, not said anything at all. You knew exactly what they meant.
